Lord Jesus Christ,
I come before You as the ultimate Judge of all the earth, grateful that You are also my defender and advocate. Thank You for Your perfect justice and Your abundant mercy. I praise You for being my refuge in times of trouble and my strong tower when I am afraid. Even in the midst of legal difficulties, I am grateful for Your unchanging love and Your promise to never leave me nor forsake me.

Jesus, I am facing legal troubles that terrify me and threaten my freedom, reputation, and future. Whether I am guilty of wrongdoing or falsely accused, I feel overwhelmed by a system I don’t fully understand. Help me to trust in Your sovereignty over human courts and Your power to bring truth to light. Replace my fear with faith in Your ability to work all things together for good. Give me peace that surpasses understanding as I face this legal battle.

Grant me wisdom to make good decisions throughout this process. Help me to choose legal representation that is competent and ethical. Give me the right words to speak when I need to testify or answer questions. If I have done wrong, help me to take responsibility and make amends where possible. If I have been wrongly accused, vindicate me according to Your will. May my character and faith be evident to all who observe me during this trial.

Protect me from those who would use the legal system to harm me unjustly. Guard my family from the stress and public scrutiny that often comes with legal troubles. Provide the financial resources needed for proper legal defense. Surround me with friends who will support me regardless of the outcome. Keep me from making decisions based on panic or desperation that could make my situation worse.

I place this entire legal matter in Your capable hands, Lord. I trust that You see the truth of every situation and that ultimate justice belongs to You. Whether the earthly outcome is favorable or difficult, help me to honor You through my response. Use this trial to deepen my dependence on You and to show others Your faithfulness. This day belongs to You, and so does my future.
