Lord Jesus Christ,
I come before You with a heart heavy with regret and gratitude. I thank You for Your unconditional love that never fails, even when my human relationships have crumbled. You are the God of reconciliation who restored the relationship between humanity and the Father through Your sacrifice. I praise You for never giving up on broken people like me, and for showing me what true love looks like through Your example.

Jesus, my heart is shattered by the broken relationships in my life. Whether through my own failures, the failures of others, or simply the brokenness of this world, important connections have been severed. I confess my part in these fractures – my pride, my harsh words, my selfishness, my neglect. I also confess my anger toward those who have hurt me. Help me to trust that You can heal what seems permanently broken. Give me hope that restoration is possible, even when it seems impossible.

Grant me the strength to take the first steps toward reconciliation where You lead me to do so. Help me to humble myself, to apologize sincerely, and to forgive completely. Show me how to love others as You have loved me – sacrificially and unconditionally. When others are not ready to reconcile, give me patience and continued love for them. Help me to be a peacemaker who reflects Your heart for unity and restoration.

Protect my heart from bitterness and my mind from constantly rehearsing past hurts. Guard me from further damaging words or actions that would make reconciliation harder. Give wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent, when to pursue and when to step back. Surround me with wise counselors who can guide me in healthy relationship patterns. Work in the hearts of those I love, preparing the way for healing conversations.

I surrender all my broken relationships to You, Lord. I trust that You can make beauty from ashes and bring life from what seems dead. Use this brokenness to make me more like You. Whether You restore these specific relationships or bring new ones, I trust Your plan for my relational future. This day and every day, help me to love as You love.
