HEART - "When You Feel Broken and Can't Love Anymore"

Your Divination
Your heart is shattered. You’ve been hurt so deeply that you’re not sure you’ll ever be able to love or trust again… and honestly, you’re not sure you want to.
Saintly Wisdom
Mary’s heart was pierced by seven swords of sorrow, yet it never stopped loving. She watched her Son be rejected, tortured, and killed… but her heart remained open. Her Immaculate Heart shows us that love is stronger than pain, and that even our deepest wounds can become sources of compassion for others.
The Heart's Story with Mary
The devotion to Mary’s Immaculate Heart began when Saint John Eudes had a vision of Mary showing him her heart surrounded by flames of love and crowned with thorns. She revealed that her heart was pierced by seven swords of sorrow: Simeon’s prophecy, the flight into Egypt, losing Jesus in the temple, meeting Jesus on the way to Calvary, standing at the foot of the cross, Jesus being taken down from the cross, and His burial. Yet despite this immense suffering, her heart remained pure and full of love. Mary’s heart teaches us that love doesn’t avoid pain… it transforms pain into compassion for others who suffer.
The Prayer
“Sacred Heart of Mary, my heart is broken and I don’t know how to love anymore. I’ve been betrayed, abandoned, and hurt by people I trusted. Heal my wounded heart and show me how to love again without fear. Let your pierced heart remind me that love is worth the risk of pain. Soften my hardened places and help me see that my scars can become sources of strength. Amen.”
Practical Reflection
A broken heart isn’t a useless heart… it’s a heart with more room for compassion. Mary’s pierced heart didn’t close… it opened wider to embrace all who suffer.
Takeaway Mantra
“My broken heart can still choose love.”
Simple Action Step
