MIRROR ONE REVEALS
Be Like Jesus Christ Today

The Story of the Quiet Yes
Imagine a small boat tossed on a violent sea. The disciples are screaming, frantically throwing water overboard, convinced that this moment is their last. They turn to find Jesus, and He is asleep. Not because He does not care, but because He knows who He is. When He wakes, He does not match their panic. He simply speaks to the wind and says, “Peace, be still.” The storm did not change Him; He changed the storm. You are being called to that same inner quiet today.
The Reflection
You chose the mirror of presence. In a world that is constantly screaming for your attention, Jesus chose to give His attention away one person at a time. He was not looking at His watch; He was looking at the soul in front of Him. You are here because your life has become a series of tasks rather than moments. Today, your mission is to de-escalate the noise. You are the thermostat, not the thermometer. You do not reflect the heat of the world; you set the temperature of the room.
Today’s Mission: The 3 Minute Presence Protocol
- Task 1: Identify one person today like a coworker or a cashier and give them your unfiltered eyes. For at least three minutes, do not check your phone. Listen to their tone, not just their words.
- Task 2: In a moment where you feel rushed or annoyed, like traffic or a long line, consciously drop your shoulders and pray: I am here, and this moment is enough.
- Task 3: Send a text to someone you have not spoken to in months. Do not ask for anything. Simply say: I was sitting in a quiet moment and you crossed my mind.
The Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father, quiet the storms within my own heart today. Teach me to walk through the world with a gentle spirit and an open ear. Let my presence be a place of rest for others, just as Your love is a place of rest for me. Amen.
Takeaway Grace
Love does not need to be loud to be life changing.
